Chaplaincy support is available for patients, visitors and staff. It provides spiritual and pastoral care for people whether or not they have a faith of their own. Religious care can be provided when appropriate. There are two full time chaplains who are supported by four Relief Chaplains, a Roman Catholic Chaplain, leaders from other faith traditions, and a team of volunteers.
People can ask to see a chaplain, or can be referred by someone else, such as a family member or a faith leader. Referrals can be made by phone, by leaving a note in the Chaplaincy, or by asking a member of staff to make the referral.
The Chapel and Prayer Room are always open. There is a 24/7 on call service so a Chaplain is always available.
