Qualified University of Leeds 1990, junior training posts in Leeds & Bradford.
Research degree completed at King’s College Hospital, London funded by the Stroke Association UK.
Registrar training programme in London (St Mary’s Hospital, National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery and Charing Cross Hospital) with one year spent on a training exchange to Perth, Australia.
General neurologist with a sub-specialty interest in vascular neurology. I also oversee the provision of multiple sclerosis in secondary care in MK as well as sharing the care of patients with movement disorders including Parkinson’s Disease.
I also have a strong interest in postgraduate medical education with a number of past and current LETB/Royal College of Physicians of London roles. Currently I am the clinical lead for recruitment & selection for 24 medical specialties and core medical training (CMT) overseen by the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board and a facilitator for the Education Department, RCP London. I am also an examiner for the MRCP PACES examination.
