Young patients at Milton Keynes Hospital will be in for a tasty treat next month as they receive an extra special breakfast in bed to mark the first anniversary of Leo’s Appeal.
Milton Keynes Hospital Charity has teamed up with ASDA’s Community Life programme to put together special breakfast packs for children staying on the ward.
The breakfast packs will form part of a week-long Birthday Breakfast event, celebrating a year of raising funds for young patients at Milton Keynes Hospital.

ASDA’s Community Life Champion Adrian Pearman said: “Leo’s Appeal is a local appeal benefitting thousands of local children and families – we were more than happy to get involved with this event and help celebrate the first anniversary of the appeal.”
The Leo’s Appeal Birthday Breakfast takes place between September 1 and 7, and the hospital charity is urging as many people as possible to host a breakfast of their own – whether at home, work or in a community setting.
Fundraising officer Jenny Howells said: “The Leo’s Appeal Birthday Breakfast will be a great way to mark the first anniversary. Through the event, we want to get people together for a great start to the day, have some fun and raise money for Leo’s Appeal by asking guests to make a donation. We’re thrilled to be working closely with ASDA – which will make a lovely change for our patients, too.”
